It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!!!

Last night we went to The Journey to Bethlehem at Forest Hill Church with some friends after dinner and we had no idea what to expect and boy was I surprised when we showed up. First the line was long and when I say long I mean wrap around the back of the church long and stand in line for like a hour long and since we had never been to this before we had no idea where the end may be ....... we thought when we got to the front door that would be it but to our surprise that was not how it was. Now it was a lot warmer then standing in line outside but the line continued in the church weaving up and down halls and eventually to the main worship hall (holding tank) where again we were waiting but this time we got to sit and they had entertainment that was nice. We sang songs which I love to do because I'm so good at it (not) and we did my favorite and by that time much needed because I was getting so tired. The song was the 12 days of Christmas that they had us do and Each row got a day to sing, ours was 10 Lords a Leaping and I might add our row did amazing! We were in the what I call the holding tank for about 45 min and just when I was starting to lose hope and looking for the exit they came to get us to start our Journey to Bethlehem! It was a lot of fun and it only took us about 20 minuets to do but I am glad I stuck in and did it because I can not think of a better way to start this Holiday season. I am so glad our friends took us along and because as they say it's not about the destination it's about the Journey and last night was a very fun one!
